In order to practice social distancing during this crisis, we made the hard decision to make some changes to shopping at EcoWORKS.
We know that the act of creating in itself is a way to help us through this time. Therefore we have been hard at work looking for ways to help our community remain creative and get access to our “treasures.”
Starting October 8, if you’re feeling creative and in need of supplies you can now shop in-store by appointment. You can still shop in our online store, by email or phone, and virtually with Zoom. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone again (just not all at once)!
Visit our store: https://ecoworksinc.square.site/
Click on the “see menu” block.
All of our online items are pictured and described on the page.
Continue scrolling down the page or jump to a category by clicking it on the top bar.
Click on an item and a pop-up opens with more details.
To order, simply choose the amount you want and click ‘Add To Cart’!
If you do not see what you want listed online please email us instead! firstname.lastname@example.org
If you’re interested in something that you know we usually have in stock or something on your wish list you can email us and we’ll see what we can do. You can also email (email@example.com) or call us (203-498-0710) and we will set up a zoom video shopping appointment as well.
We hope to see you all very soon!
To promote resource conservation, creativity, education and community engagement through material reuse, waste reduction, recycling, composting and zero waste strategies.
EcoWorks, Inc. is a creative reuse center and a re-Boutique gift shop of up-cycled and re-purposed goods made by Connecticut artists run by volunteers who are passionate about the arts and hate waste.
We offer low-cost art and craft supplies (scrap/surplus) to artists, teachers, and other creative people. We take items that may have otherwise ended up in the trash, and strive to have these items reused in a sustainable way as to not contribute to the waste stream.
In addition, we offer classes and workshops that increase skills and understanding of the creative arts using scrap materials, waste reduction, and reuse.
Promote creativity & environmental awareness.
Reduce waste and divert useful materials from incineration.
Inspire creative reuse & breathe new life into old materials.
