Ecoworks is a creative reuse center. We sell low-cost art supplies to support teachers, artists and others seeking to be more creative and artistic! We are open to the public.
Store: 262 State Street, New Haven, CT
Our regular hours: Thursdays, 1-7pm, and Saturdays, 10am-4pm
OPEN SUNDAYS in DECEMBER 1:00-4:00pm
Sunday, December 4, 1-4pm Join us and help us make blankets for IRIS. We’ll be crocheting and knitting squares to make afghans. This event is in partnership with Alice’s Reloved Workshop, who helps our community by designing and creating needed items for animal shelters, wildlife rehabilitators, as well as refugee and homeless centers, using reycled materials that would otherwise be thrown away. All materials are provided, and instruction will be available if you are new to knitting or crocheting.
Sunday, December 11, 1-4pm Free gift wrapping and request a song; Sandy Resnick will sing you a Christmas Carol of your choice.
Sunday, December 18, 1-4pm We’ll be making ornaments, drop-in, suggested donation $5. Led by Shula Weinstein and Lisa Spetrini.
Plus store is open during special events, workshops & classes
