EcoWorks is holding a sale September 14th through October 14th to support CWOS artists in their preparation for this great New Haven event. All registered 2017 CWOS artists will receive 50% off all raw materials and supplies. Excludes reBoutique items and workshop registration.

A local artist or creative will be facilitating a fun activity that links with the “noodle” theme.  The activity will be free.  EcoWorks will be open during these hours for shopping too!

Paper People with Janet Brodie
October 28th, 1:00-3:00pm

Come and create paper dolls with Janet Brodie! We’ll find amazing things at Ecoworks to cut and die cut into arms, legs, etc. we’ll connect them with unusual brads ( paper fasteners) so they are also like puppets. They can look like anyone you like. You can bring photos for the faces. They can have messages for arms and legs. They can have long hair, be bald, wear hats. There will be rubber stamps and die cutting machine to use. Come and play. Adults (16+) only- kids already know how to play!  All materials provided. $28 Register Here.

Embroidery for Beginners with McKenzie Chapman

November 18th, 1:00-3:00pm

Create a beautiful, embroidered hoop to hang in your home! This is a beginner’s workshop, so you’ll learn basic embroidery stitches while completing a lovely pattern. The pattern will be pre-traced onto the fabric and already stretched onto a 6 inch hoop. You’ll be learning the satin, back, lazy daisy, and french knot stitches. Leave with new skills and a cute hoop you can be proud of! Facilitated by McKenzie Chapman, who embroiders clothing, hoops and makes patches for her Etsy site. All materials provided. Ages 14+ $20 Register Here
