Embroidery for Beginners with McKenzie Chapman
Create a beautiful, embroidered hoop to hang in your home! This is a beginner’s workshop, so you’ll learn basic embroidery stitches while completing a lovely pattern. The pattern will be pre-traced onto the fabric and already stretched onto a 6 inch hoop. You’ll be learning the satin, back, lazy daisy, and french knot stitches. Leave with new skills and a cute hoop you can be proud of! Facilitated by McKenzie Chapman, who embroiders clothing, hoops and makes patches for her Etsy site. All materials provided. Ages 14+ $20 Register Here
December 1st, 4:30-8:00pm
Cookies On9 runs 6-8pm, but we’re opening a little early for “First Friday”. During this On9 night, a local artist or creative will facilitate a cookie craft activity. The activity is free. EcoWorks will be open during these hours for shopping too!
We are also hosting the Cookies On9 cookie crawl too. To participate in the cookie crawl, tickets can be purchase from Downtown New Haven.
We’re open on Sundays in December before Christmas. Free Parking on Sundays.
In attempt to expand our hours, we are planning to be open the First Friday of the month. We’re also looking at setting up “make ‘n takes”. Let us know if you’re interested in leading art/craft activity (email ecoworksct@ gmail.com).

Treasures from the Cellar: Bead-It!
In October we received 100s of pounds of beautiful lucite, acrylic and glass beads. Too many to put on the sales floor. So we’ll be bringing our beads and charms inventory up from the cellar. Please visit us and check out all the new surprises.
More events and workshops soon!
